Jenny Pistella (nee Wedgbury)
I am a Museum and Heritage Learning Consultant with over 12 years experience of working in museums, galleries and heritage sites.
I believe that museums can be wondrous shared spaces and places, just waiting for people to find, explore and take inspiration from. But to make museums a truly shared resource for everyone we need to help facilitate this exploration and find ways to make museums more relevant and accessible to people.
I am committed to working collaboratively to help make museums as welcoming, useful and inspiring to as many people as possible.
I specialise in creative public programming for museums and heritage sites. I am skilled at devising, developing and delivering public events, workshops, seasons of talks and festivals for informal audiences.
I can work with you to create and provide:
- Family trails, back-packs and other interactive resources
- Family workshops
- Early Years‘ programmes
- Schools resources, teachers notes and case studies
- Adult learning curation of seasons of events, lates or festivals
- Consultancy and support on how to make your museum more family friendly and how to develop a rich and engaging adult learning programme
