I am an experienced academic lecturer and tutor, specialising in teaching on Museum Studies and Museum and Heritage Learning and Engagement courses at BA and MA level.


Queen Mary University, School of History

I am currently a Teaching Associate at Queen Mary University, School of History. I teach undergraduates on the following modules, History in Practice and London and its Museums


Reading University, Museum Studies

I have taught as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Reading, teaching on the BA in Museum Studies, Museum Learning and Engagement module. This is based at the Museum of English and Rural Life but also uses the URE Museum of Greek Archaeology. I was responsible for leading the module and delivering weekly lectures and seminars.


UCL, Institute of Education

I am also a visiting lecturer at UCL, Institute of Education on the Museums and Galleries in Education Masters course. The MA combines academic study with professional educational practice in museums, galleries and heritage sites, looking at influential contemporary and historic theories in museum and gallery education.

I have taught and tutored on the following modules:

  • The Responsive Museum: Inclusion and Outreach in Practice
  • Material and Virtual Cultures: Transforming the Museum and Gallery Experience
  • Dissertation module
